  • Description

Samuel finch is a West Midlands based artist with autism who works across various mediums such as graphic design, illustration, and tattooing. In contrast to his tattoo work which features crudely rendered folk illustrations, his digital work is comprised of obsessively neat diagrams that feature bright colours and bold shapes. A heavy inspiration for the aesthetic of his work is taken from the early digital graphics he interacted with as a child; with visible references to video game box art, Lego set instructions, and old school textbooks. This nostalgic aesthetic is combined with old occult diagrams to create vibrant compositions that explore the line between "mental space" and "physical space", and what those things mean in a digital context.
